Where the Body Remains began intuitively with the trace of a scar on my wrist. I translated its shape into sterling silver, then returned the object to a life-size photograph of the same body.

The work moves between body, image and object, asking what remains when a bodily trace is given material form. The photograph stays flat; the silver occupies space. That distance becomes part of the work.
